If you use windows 2000 or windows 2003 server with a domain you can set the home page of all users internet exproler from the server with one easy command from the Group Policy Editor
Here are the steps:-
- From the domain controller
- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers.
- Right-click on your domain name, and then click Properties.
- Click the Group Policy tab to view currently linked group policy objects.
- Click the Default Domain Policy, and then click Edit.
- Go to user configuration, Windows settings, internet explorer maintenance. Choose URL, choose important URL, set the home page you want i.e http://server/site
A user will need to log out and log back in again for it to take effect.
